If you own a BlackBerry 10 device and enjoy using the Twitter app, then you’ll be happy to learn that the app was updated yesterday to version As you would imagine, the latest version brings a host of new features, many of which were requested by you.

New BlackBerry 10 Twitter app features — The best BlackBerry 10 app was voted the Twitter app a while ago, and it’s got even better thanks to a number of UI enhancements and much more.

The new version now allows you to have multiple accounts, meaning you can add additional Twitter accounts. Twitter 10.2 for BlackBerry 10 gives you the option to view, as well as reply and then send new Direct Messages, all this can now been done within the Twitter app.

That’s not all, as this is the BlackBerry 10 Twitter app update that keeps giving, because you also get an improved refresh, so your location will always be kept up-to-date. Another new feature that we feel could prove very popular is the ability to save a picture you have taken and then share directly via your Twitter app.

Searching has always been a big part of Twitter, and now you can view those recent searches, as well as those ones you saved. However, one of the better additions to this new feature is search suggestions, which seems to be a popular choice for a number of services these days.

Although the new Twitter app update rolled out yesterday, not all of you would have benefited from the update right away, as it was being staggered out over 24 hours. However, this is a non-issue now, as all BlackBerry 10 users should be enjoying the latest version of the BB10 Twitter app.
