Bentley SUV changes from development to production

2014 has proved a good year when it comes to news on the Bentley SUV, as we have finally started to get some of the details we so desperately needed, although what we really wanted to know was, what will it look like? Thankfully, we have seen a number of Bentley SUV spy shots to help answer that very question.

The upcoming SUV has been spotted on UK roads once again testing out the production version and we can already see a few changes over the development version seen earlier this year.

We can clearly see on the 2016 Bentley SUV several changes from the last time the vehicle was spotted, such as the front grille now coming with new chrome detailing. There will be a few more changes along the way from now until its release in 2016, but they will only be superficial ones seeing as though styling has now been finalized.

Some of the standout features that can clearly been seen in some of these images thanks to Autocar are the larger mesh grille, dual-air vents down the side of the front bumper, and huge air intakes to help supply enough air to keep that large W12 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged running at an optimum temperature.

Sadly we cannot see any Bentley SUV interior shots from the latest photos, but we hope to see some of them leak soon. We have seem some very blurry images of the interior, and also what the development version looks like from the inside, but nothing as far as the final production version goes.

Do you think the Bentley SUV price of around £140,000 will be worth it?

Yes there will be so much demand for it in Asia. Rich Chinese buyers have been on the hunt for luxury SUVs that they can be chauffeured around in (weird), the more expensive the better. A few years back they all went for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo, and now, the Ranger Rover Autobiography. The Bentley SUV will likely enjoy a few years of dominance in this market before Rolls Royce releases their SUV based on the upcoming BMW X7 (RR SUV…yikes)
