Bentley Release iPad App For Continental GT

Bentley have released an app for the ever popular iPad. It has been designed to showcase Bentley’s latest Continental GT that was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show this month.

With what seems like more and more auto manufacturers using apps to promote their products, we recently reported on Ford using an app as a sales brochure for it’s Fiesta. The “Pure Bentley” app will join Audi, Jaguar and BMW in the high-end car market.

Using the GT as the cover car “Pure Bentley” offers a range of high quality zoom-able images, which can be shared with friends. Added to this you are able to take a tour through Bentley’s famous racing history and get an introduction into the skilled craftsmen and women that sculpt the luxury motor-vehicles. Other models available to view are the flagship Mulsanne and Bentley’s 204mph Continental Super-sports.

Behind-the-scenes multimedia movies show an insider view of the factory floor and Bentley’s own styling studios, while three driving experience movies intoxicate your mind. Although there has been some criticism as to the quality and features of the Bentley app, the fact that you get 63 pages of content for free surely makes this a must to download.

Check out skiddmark for a full run down on the “Pure Bentley” app, and if you like what you see take a look at our recent report on Bentley’s configurator, where you can design your dream Bentley.
