BBM for Android popularity ahead of release date

If we were to go back a couple of years and thought about the possibility of BBM on Android or iOS, then it would have been very hard to believe and also very popular with those users. However, moving to present day this is now a reality, and while some people will have you believe it is not a wanted feature as it was back then, the BBM for Android popularity ahead of its release date is still very high.

With BlackBerry Messenger headed to Android later this year the first photo has leaked while running on a Galaxy S3, although we cannot be certain as to the authenticity of the image. The general consensus is that the software is pretty decent.

Some BBM fans awaiting its arrival on Android have been sharing their thoughts, with some of them believing that WhatsApp is a better service and you can imagine the response that comes after making such a bold claim. Having said that, once these people had been clarified about certain features of WhatsApp they realized that BBM was far more superior.

For those of you who are still unconvinced as to the popularity of BBM coning to Android, then what about when the fake version went live on the Google Play Store, if we remember correctly more than 100,000 Android users went to the page to download it thinking it was the genuine app.

Okay, so we know that BBM is not doing as popular as it once was, you have to remember that BlackBerry handset sales have declined over the years and so releasing BBM on Android and iOS devices will help BBM become one of the top message apps once again.

Remember, BBM does have a decent security system in place, unlike WhatsApp, and maybe after a few months it will make this the number one messenger app service?
