BBM has been updated today for iPhones and will be updated tomorrow at 4pm European time for Android phones. This update will allow you to find your friends on BBM app without needing their pin. Sending a pin invite to your contacts already on your smartphone, this will allow them to accept or decline you as a contact on BBM, and you do not need to know their pin and they do not need to know yours.
This is a major event for BBM users as it was so hard to add someone onto your BBM if you were not with them, where as now you can sit at home on your own and add pretty much anyone of your mates to BBM.
If they do not already have BBM then sending them an invite via SMS or email is possible, as they can then download BBM and begin to use this app to contact their friends much easier.
In the press email we received today, it also mentioned that BBM 2.0 would release very soon, so keep connected to Product Reviews as we break that news the moment it arrives.
