Battlefield Hardline Premium price for DLC expectations

We know a lot of you have been asking if there will be a Battlefield Hardline Premium program for the game, with gamers able to pay an extra $50 to receive all subsequent add-on DLC.

This week, it looks like we have the answer to that question, thanks to the ongoing Battlefield Hardline open beta which is now live on all platforms.

If you head to the beta now and go into Agent customization, you’ll be able to reach a section where you can choose from a vast list of patches.

This is similar to how dog tags worked in Battlefield 4, but these patches have revealed that some of them will be locked away to ‘Premium’ members.

One example, is the Shark Patch and here is the description for it as it reads in game at the moment: “Premium subscribers will find these Patches in Silver and Gold Battlepacks.”

As you can see, it looks like Premium is definitely on the way. The big question is whether the Battlefield Hardline Premium price will be $50 again and what it will include this time.

Four expansion packs will be a given, but fans will be expecting to see a lot of extra content too. We have been impressed with the Premium packages for Battlefield 3 and 4 though, so we are optimistic that Visceral and EA can once again make it worth the extra money.

What are your thoughts on the game, after playing the beta for a few hours. Do you already see it as a game where you are happy to pay the extra for the Premium package or not?
