Battlefield Bad Company 2: Patch Now Available For Download

It seems that the latest patch for Bad Company 2 has slipped under the radar, but the gaming community never fail to enlighten us and have revealed that it is now available for download for the PC and Xbox 360. The patch fixes a number of bugs and prepares us for the Vietnam expansion and Map Pack 7.

The patch weighs in at a massive 2.6GB, so be prepared for a lengthy wait while it downloads. The patch is thought to be that large due to the upcoming Vietnam expansion, scheduled for release this winter along with Map Pack 7.

A list of PC fixes have been made public, and amongst them are fixes to Bullet Tracers, Acog and Red dot scope are now equippable on MJ-14 and G3 and the Play Now option now works as intended. Xbox 360 patch notes can be found here.

If you are looking for download links for the PC version of the game, then you can check out the Battlefield blog, where they have listed numerous mirrors to get your patch.

On a side note, PC server side updates are to take place “between GMT 08:00 2010-11-30 and GMT 08:01 2010-12-01,” so PC players may experience some interruptions during these times.
