Battlefield Bad Company 2 DLC: Onslaught Not Free, No PC Version

Following on from our previous report which announced the release of the Onslaught Mode DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2, we can confim that the content will be paid for, and won’t be coming to the PC either.

As reported from Eurogamer, Onslaught is a new four player co-op mode, allowing you to team up, performing various tasks and missions on some of the current maps within the game.

Although we don’t know prices for the content yet, a DICE producer on the EA Forums confirmed that the package would be paid for, and not free like previous DLC releases for VIP members.

However, the extra Onslaught Mode is thought to be a pretty significant update to the game, so players shouldn’t be too unhappy that this one will be paid for – lets hope the price is reasonable.

On a side note, PC gamers will feel very disappointed that the extra mode will not be coming to their platform. A statement from EA reads: “We haven’t given up on a PC version of Onslaught as I say, just we have a lot things to work out first.”

So there we have it. What do you think would be a ‘fair’ price for the Onslaught mode? How do PC gamers feel about this?
