Battlefield 5 Royale gameplay unveiled for the first time

As promised, EA and DICE have now unveiled the highly anticipated GamesCom trailer for Battlefield 5 and as expected, it didn’t disappoint.

The trailer features unseen Battlefield 5 gameplay which looks incredible from a graphics standpoint, but the big talking point that everyone is going crazy about on social media is the first look at Battlefield 5 Royale gameplay.

Royale is going to be the brand new mode in the game which will function the same way as PUBG, Fortnite and also Blackout within Black Ops 4.

DICE initially teased the mode back at E3 2018 and now we get our first look at the mode, if only for a very brief moment.

Watch the trailer below and you will see the big ring of fire which appears to signify players getting closed in within a confined space which is a key aspect of the Royale game mode typically.

However, the surprising twist could be the fact that DICE are adding tanks into their Royale mode and this is going to shake up the gameplay in a big way.

The trailer speaks for itself, so watch it and give us your reaction to Battlefield 5 multiplayer and your thoughts on how Royale will work compared to PUBG and Fortnite. What do you personally want to see?
