Battlefield 4 is a pretty amazing game, it’s not perfect as we all know with some bugs still present in the game but DICE are trying hard to fix things up. We have just had a new update go live on PS4 which was great to see but now we want to focus on another area that needs attention.
If you are playing the game regularly, you’ll know that Battlefield 4 spawn protection is almost non-existent. If you play on Battlefield 4 maps such as Silk Road and Lancang Dam on Team Deathmatch in particular, you’ll instantly notice that spawn killing is a big problem.
Team Deathmatch and Domination are the biggest culprits in this issue, as you are far less likely to encounter spawn killing on Conquest. It doesn’t mean to say that it should be ignored though so hopefully DICE are aware of this and are planning some changes.
We’ve lost track at the amount of times we have respawned on Lancang Dam, only to find the enemy are literally behind us already and are shooting within a second of respawning giving you no chance to fight back.
We’re sure most of you have experienced spawn killing issues on Battlefield 4 one way or another, so let us know your thoughts on this.
Do you have any ideas on how DICE could implement a fix? How about complete spawn protection for 5 seconds – would that be a start?
On the whole though, we see a lot of criticism aimed at EA about Battlefield 4, but we think it is still head and shoulders above Battlefield 3 and a great alternative gameplay experience compared to Call of Duty Ghosts.
