Battlefield 4 China Rising DLC maps, classic mode exposed

We have a heads up for all Battlefield 4 players now. As most of you know, the first Battlefield 4 DLC expansion has already been confirmed as China Rising. Now though, we have some key information for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC players and indeed to those that are planning to get the game on PS4 and Xbox One as well.

The China Rising DLC map names have leaked out early, ahead of the release date early in December. As expected, China Rising is going to feature four new maps. However, we now have the names of those maps, as well as confirmation that a popular mode from Battlefield 3 will be returning.

The maps are going to be called Taklamakan, Altai Range, Guilin Peaks and Dragon Pass. Just like previous expansions on BF3, China Rising will also include five new weapons to unlock and 10 new assignments to work through.

Perhaps most exciting of all though, is that China Rising is thought to come with the return of Air Superiority – a mode that featured in BF3 and was very well received with fans. It’s great to see that DICE has taken that popularity on board and put a smile on those faces who thought that it wouldn’t be seen in BF4.

As always, Battlefield 4 Premium members will gain access to China Rising before anyone else. Let us know your thoughts on the map names – Dragon Pass certainly sounds intriguing doesn’t it? We wonder what the main feature in that map will be.

Are you looking forward to enjoying this on PS4 and Xbox One? Not long to go now folks.
