Batman Arkham Origins amazing CGI, playable Deathstroke

If you are a big fan of the Batman Arkham series of games, then we have an unmissable new trailer for you to watch for the upcoming Batman Arkham Origins game. Developers Warner Montreal have released a CGI trailer, showing off an epic battle between the Batman and new villain Deathstroke – it is pretty amazing to say the least.

While it would obviously be nice to see some actual gameplay for the title, you just can’t beat teasers like this in full CGI showing off some of the graphical capabilities. Perhaps more importantly, it should also be a good indication that the game is in good hands with Warner Montreal, for those that were initially worried that stable developers Rocksteady were not making the game this time.

Arkham Origins has already been given a release date of October 25 and now we can also confirm that exciting new villain Deathstroke will be playable as well, for those that pre-order the game. You’ll be pleased to hear that he won’t be playable in the main campaign as that would be silly, but instead throughout all of the Challenge Modes, as well as two bonus Challenge Mode missions exclusive to him.

The CGI scene above gives you a perfect idea of how he will look in game, and he definitely looks the business. There is even a glimpse at the other main antagonist in the game as well – Black Mask. The action is so good, that it should really be an individual animation series – fans would be all over that if it happened.

Dare we say it, but could Arkham Origins actually end up the best in the series, despite the fact that Rocksteady are not developing this time? Take a look at the epic action above for yourself and let us know if Origins has now become a day-one buy for you.

The ability to play as Deathstroke may just serve as the most exciting thing about the whole game. We can’t wait to see more of the game at E3 next month.
