Batman Arkham Knight release date update

Those of you who enjoyed seeing Batman Arkham Knight at E3 may have noticed that Rocksteady didn’t offer an exact release date when informing the world that the highly anticipated game had been delayed into 2015.

Originally expected on October 14 2014, we will now have to wait until next year to play Rocksteady’s new game, but there can be no complaints considering the fact that this is a Rocksteady game that we are dealing with.

However, it looks like we can bring you a Batman Arkham Knight release date update, as long-running Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy appears to have let slip that the new release date will be sometime in January 2015.

As far as we’re aware, this is new information and you can hear it yourself at the 5 minute mark in the clip below. For those that don’t want to watch the video, here is what he said:

“I have a massive game you might have heard of called Arkham Knight, a little indie game. It was supposed to come out in January, we’ve been working on it for a year and a half and it’s still not done. So it’s going to come out next January.”

Bear in mind that Conroy appears to have been confused as to when the game was announced, since this was March 2014 so there is no way that it could have meant to release in January 2014, unless Batman is a time traveller.

He could have let slip some juicy details though about the January 2015 release. Let us know your thoughts on this below and if you think Arkham Knight could be the best Batman game ever.
