Batman: Arkham City: New Trailer Unveils First Look at Gameplay

Last week this highly anticipated sequel to the 2009 Game of the Year winner Batman: Arkham Asylum, got an official release date. We also previously brought you news of a full length trailer for Batman: Arkham City and today we can reveal the first released gameplay footage video.

The video comes from an article by Hilary Goldstein at IGN. The article gives you some insight into what to expect from the game itself as well as revealing more screenshots and other videos.

This gameplay video was apparently first teased at the VGA 2009 but has only just gone live. It shows some of Batman’s cool tactics that he can utilize, from diving bomb attacks to the use of his Bat-vision which is basically x-ray vision.

It also reveals some of the main characters that will appear in the game including Two-Face and Dr. Hugo Strange.
