Following on from our previous article, which informed you about the BAFTA video game awards in the UK, we learned one important thing – Batman: Arkham Asylum pipped Uncharted 2 to the Best Game award.
Just how many of you disagree with this though? Uncharted 2 was up for numerous awards, as was Batman: AA and Modern Warfare 2. It was Batman that took the most important award though – and I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised.
While many of you are saying Uncharted 2 is the perfect game – mixing gameplay and graphics together to glorious effect, it was the unsung hero in Arkham Asylum that leaves the lasting impression.
Considering that all previous Batman games have basically been terrible lets face it, it is finally nice to see Eidos and Rocksteady create a title worthy of Best Game.
What are your thoughts on this? Did Batman: AA deserve this award, or do you think it is an outrage that Uncharted 2 didn’t win?
