Avengers Alliance Karnak review after PVP 17

As we’ve seen many times in the past, it looks like Marvel Avengers Alliance developers Playdom had big problems keeping their PVP servers up and running last night. Many complaints have been coming in from players who are angry that PVP 17 crashes stopped them from placing in the league that they wanted, with the grand prize up for grabs this season being Karnak the Inhuman.

In our opinion though, the Season wasn’t anywhere near as bad as previous seasons when Playdom really did test the patience of players. This season, it seems like Playdom has finally managed to curb the number of offline defences coming in whilst not playing – thus allowing many players to pick up Karnak compared to previous PVP seasons when Adamantium League was strictly for gold spending players only.

Now, we can see that many of you have won Karnak and as a result, we can bring you the first Avengers Alliance Karnak reviews that we have seen so far from YouTube and from our own observations.

Firstly, we can see that Karnak has some very interesting skills indeed. Don’t underestimate that level 1 move as a pre-emptive attack that is guaranteed to hit and crit, plus add Disadvantage on top is very impressive.

Secondly, you should really see Karnak in action when pairing with another Inhuman such as Gorgon. Not only will Karnak get Gorgon’s Resilience buff for immunity to pressure points debuffs, but Karnak will also pre-counter any attack on Gorgon or another Inhuman.

For example, when you are using Karnak in PVP and the enemy attacking you is a Tactician Agent, this is going to be priceless as you’ll be able to put exhausted on them without even breaking sweat.

Karnak’s level 2 quick action is also amazing, allowing you to put debuffs on the entire team that other allies such as Quicksilver are going to absolutely love. Some early Karnak ISO suggestions for you include Pugilist to Exploit Combos and Aggressive to raise attack even further when using Melee attacks – we’re not sure if this will increase during pre-hits but we’ll find out soon.

If you have just won Karnak, give us your own first impressions below. Are you impressed with this character or not? We’ve added a video below offering further thoughts from a YouTuber who also won Karnak.
