AT&T launch HTC One Mini this week

As the world of mini devices has started to accumulate some smaller smartphones on the market many companies are getting in on the action, and today we are focusing on the HTC One Mini AT&T launch expected this week. According to reports, those looking to obtain the new HTC One Mini will be able to at the end of the week as this device launches on AT&T this coming Friday 23rd of August.

We understand the mini craze has given potential consumers reason to hang on for these little bundles of joy, and those wanting a smaller version of the HTC One flagship smartphone will start seeing the HTC One Mini phone retail from Friday.

Highlighting the upcoming release Mashable discuss some of the features which includes the aluminium body that makes the flagship version such a premium product. From what we understand this new device will have a 4.3-inch screen, as well as being 21 grams lighter and 5.4 mm shorter, along with a width reduction of 5mm.

With carrier AT&T selling the HTC One Mini for $99.99, this also involves a two-year agreement, although some power compromises have been made in comparison to the flagship HTC One. The smaller screen is 720p as opposed to the larger One’s 1080p display, but the One Mini also has dual front-facing speakers including a built-in amplifier, with additional HTC One perks like BlinkFeed and Zoe.

Last month we highlighted a HTC One Mini review which exposes a dilemma, as we discuss a comparison review between the flagship and mini versions. In this we looked more extensively at both products and showed a video that explains some of the sacrifices made in specs to bring this to the market.

Were you initially impressed with the HTC One but found it a bit cumbersome? With the HTC One Mini coming out this Friday will you be looking to acquire the new HTC One Mini?
