AT&T Dell Streak: Release Date and Price Finally Revealed

AT&T has at last revealed details regarding the Dell Streak, we already know full details regarding the specs, however pricing and release information has been kept quiet.

Earlier today Dell released a press release which revealed full price and release date details, the Dell Streak will become available from AT&T from August 13, it will cost $300 as part of a two-year deal, however if you prefer you can buy it outright for $550.

The only disappointing news is that it looks like it will launch with Android 1.6, however recent rumors suggest that Android 2.1 could be less than a month away, there is no word as to if and when Android 2.2 FroYo will arrive, however it would be pretty essential to stay competitive in my opinion.
