Asus X205-TA laptop review with specs configuration

The Asus X205-TA laptop has been available for a few months now, but is still a good choice to go for thanks to its decent specs configuration. The form factor of the X205TA-RHATMN01 is pretty compact and is very light, making it much easier to carry about and with a competitive price there is every reason to consider this model, not unless you need something with a lot of performance though.

Asus has gone for a matte plastic finish with its X205TA laptop, although there are various color options and not just boring black. The keyboard on this model does feel a little cramped, although this was to be expected because of its compact design, and so takes a bit of getting used to. To make things more bearable Asus has increased the size of the trackpad, much like MacBooks in that respect.

The first runs for just over 8 minutes and compares it to the HP Stream 11 and Acer E 11. The second video is a full review of this model and covers its design, specs, features and overall performance.

Would you consider this laptop as a gift for yourself or someone else?

I got one for Christmas and would not recommend it. I’ve been playing old games lately, currently Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. I had to delete most of the other programs I had installed from my hard drive in order to install the game, which I had to get online since the computer has no disc drive. Then it lagged horribly even on low quality graphics. This computer is not fit to run even a 10-year old game. Really, I don’t know what they were thinking making a computer with a hard drive smaller than most phones currently have in the… Read more »
