Asus NVIDIA GTX460: Full Specs and Price Info

Earlier on today we revealed what is being dubbed the World’s fast single video card the Asus Ares, if your budget doesn’t stretch that far you may want to check out another Asus offering.

This is the Asus NVIDIA GTX 460 video card, this card comes with the choice of either 768MB of RAM or 1GB, both variants are DirectX 11 compliant and support features such as 3D Vision Surround, PhysX, and CUDA.

Apparently these particular GTX 460 video cards outperform others, this is because Asus claim they have enhanced features such as the DirectCU thermal design, Fuse Protection and EMI shield. The DirectCU thermal design will give the video card 20% better cooling, which may attract overclockers.

Exact pricing details are currently unknown, however the cheapest model will start at $199.99, the 768MB model will obviously be cheaper, especially as they have just two heat pipes, whereas the 1GB model has three.
