Asus Lamborghini VX7: Gaming laptop gets Sandy Bridge processor

If you like you’re gaming on the go and need a powerful laptop, Asus have just updated their Lamborghini VX7 gaming laptop.

Melanie Pinola over at PCWorld is reporting the already powerful laptops now have the benefit of the latest Sandy Bridge processor; this makes the VX7 the company’s most powerful laptop so far.

The VX7 has similar exotic styling of the Italian supercars, where you will find leather trim, rear taillights, classic Lamborghini roar on startup, are just some of the nice design touches on the laptop.

Other performance features of the VX7 include a massive 3GB of video memory with Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 460M graphics card. There is also up to 16GB of DDR3 memory and the quick USB 3, and of course the new Intel Core i7 quad-core 2.0 GHz processor.

There are also some customization options for customers, which include the 15.6-inch display which can come in either 1366-by-768 HD 3D or 1920-by-1080 HD. Two drives can be added in different combinations for up to 1.5TB of storage. Blu-ray and DVD writers and readers are also available as an option.

If you like the look of the Asus Lamborghini X7 it can be pre-ordered for a cool $2,269. What do you think of the Lamborghini VX7?

I would have preferred the VX7 to have remained a 14" like the VX6 for the sake of ultra portability. What about the weight with all that gear on board? Also how about some pics of any cool acessories when they become available?

it looks great. but does it not require extreme cooling system too.
