ASUS Eee Pad Transformer: Stock replenished at Amazon

ASUS have been turning a few heads with their recent flaunting of their revolutionary Padfone. Today’s news however turns the attention back to their Eee Pad Transformer, which found it was extremely popular amongst consumers when it launched and stocks soon ran dry.

Since selling out, the stocks are still yet to be replenished, so if you were hoping to get a hold of one you may have been waiting a while. You won’t have to wait much longer now that Amazon has announced their stocks will be back on June 2nd.

The online retail store offers the 32GB Wi-Fi version of the tablet for $499 with no extra charge for shipping as it is shipped from Amazon’s fulfillment center. The Eee Pad Transformer also has a keyboard dock for $280 but Amazon unfortunately does not sell it.

If the company’s Padfone is as great a success as the Eee Pad Transformer unexpectedly was, they could be the start of a long line of hybrid devices being released from other manufacturers trying to compete in the market. Check out the article at Slashgear where they have the full story of Amazon’s new stock.

Will you be getting an ASUS Eee Pad Transformer now the stocks are being replenished?
