Assistance: Free Interactive first aid app for iPhone

A must have first aid app has just been updated for owners of the iPhone and iPod Touch, and is now available free of charge. Assistance 2.0 allows users to access first aid procedures via an interactive assistant.

Developed by Silicon Studios the app has visual descriptions allowing rapid and direct identification of an emergency situation or disease. Using GPS the app can provide a quick direct phone connection to the local emergency phone numbers, as well as direct feeds from the World Health Organization.

Assistance is a top ten hit across the globe and has more than 200 situations which are described that include; common infant problems, trauma, electrocution, CPR, chocking, and many more. The main feature of the app is to inform and assist in first aid emergencies. Multiple choice questions and answers make the app very easy to use.

Assistance 2.0 is available free on the App Store. iPhone and iPod Touch compatible with OS 4.0 or later.
