Assassin’s Creed Odyssey confirmed with Ancient Greece setting

There had been rumors that a new Assassin’s Creed game was coming for 2018 and now Ubisoft has just confirmed it, much to the delight of fans.

Thanks to confirmation on Twitter, we now know that the new game is going to be called Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and that it very much looks like the setting for the game is Ancient Greece.

This ticks all of the boxes for many of you we expect as this will be the first time that a main Assassin’s Creed game has been set in that era.

Ubisoft posted the following teaser on Twitter hours ago, telling fans that the full reveal will be coming at E3 2018. For those that need a heads-up, Ubisoft’s E3 press conference takes place on June 11 at 1pm Pacific Time, 4pm Eastern Time and 9pm for those in the UK.
