Assassin’s Creed 4 easter eggs with Desmond, Watch Dogs

We have a surprise for those of you playing Assassin’s Creed 4, coming in the form of some Assassin’s Creed 4 easter eggs that Ubisoft has sneakily, but purposefully inserted into the game. If you thought you had seen the last of Desmond Miles from AC3, think again as there is a scene in Assassin’s Creed 4 which features him.

On top of that, there is the bombshell that the worlds of Assassin’s Creed 4 and Watch Dogs could be linked together. Another massive easter egg has been found which links the two games together with the CtoS security system that will be a big part of Watch Dogs next year.

In terms of excitment and creativity, this has to be some of the best AC4 easter eggs that Ubisoft has managed to come up with. If you wanted to know what happened to Desmond Miles after the end of Assassin’s Creed 3, you should watch the video below and enjoy the extra scene that Ubisoft has put into the game.

Potentially though, the Watch Dogs easter egg is more exciting, for a few reasons. One because it could link the two worlds together which nobody even thought could be possible and two, it could pave the way for a future game which specifically features Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs in a single game – imagine how awesome would that be.

Are Ubisoft building up to something very exciting here with the Watch Dogs reference in Assassin’s Creed 4, or is it simply promotion for their next game due out in 2014? Watch both clips below and let us know if you have found anything else worth mentioning.
