Ash Wednesday 2015 readings via Lent app

Today is Lent and also Ash Wednesday and so many of you will be looking for 2015 readings, prayers and meditations on this very Holy day. There are several sources that help you to meditate during the Lent season, although one of the easiest and most accessible is the Catholic Meditations for Lent app by St. Thomas Aquinas.

Version 2.2 of this app brings a few bug fixes, such as the What’s New message will no longer keep appearing the first time you open the app. The Done button will now be visible from the Activities screen

Catholic Meditations for Lent app

When you do open this app you will notice there are meditations for 63 days, which takes in those readings needed for Ash Wednesday. Many people believe this day is all about giving something up for a certain amount of days, but there is so much more to it than that.

Sticking with giving something up, what is it that you will be sacrificing and why?
