Argos website down, UK shoppers express anger

We can see that Argos are busy trying to get their Black Friday preparations underway this year, but at the same time are facing massive problems with the Argos website down for most UK shoppers at the time of writing.

We have spotted that Argos recently highlighted some products that would be available at a lower price than normal, which has caused an ‘online stampede’ and seemingly brought the servers down at the same time.

As a result, if you try to log in to the Argos website now, you’ll be greeted with an apology page with the retailer saying that ‘We’re incredibly busy right now’.

Other shoppers have been placed in a queue just to reach the Argos homepage, but as you can see from the live feedback above – most simply can’t even get that far.

This is frustrating as you can imagine, with many arguing that Argos should put the priority on improving their website database first to handle the incoming traffic that will inevitably happen once the products are visible to the public.

Are you having a stressful time trying to complete your shopping on Argos at the moment? Give us your status below.
