With tablets making a great gift at this time of year we have seen a surge of people looking for an Archos 70 7-inch tablet. However, it is not as straightforward as you would think because there are three models of this type, and so we thought we would have a look at all three to help you come to the decision as to which one will be for you.
There is the Archos 70c Cobalt, 70b Xenon and the 70 Copper. All three come with a 7-inch display making it easy to carry around with you and put away when not needed.
The Cobalt is ideal for all budgets and has a slim, light design with an easy grip case. As for the Xenon, this model gives a great all-round Android experience and the ability to use 3G while out and about, although will require a data plan. The Copper is pretty similar to the Xenon, although the latter does have one or two more tricks up its sleeve making it more powerful.
We know that you will be more interested in the Archos 70 7-inch tablet prices, but first you need to know those specs, as they can often make or break a tablet.
With the Cobalt you get a 1GHz Rockchip RK3026 Dual-core processor, 512MB DDR3, Mali 400 MP4 Dual-core and 8GB of storage. The Copper comes with a 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT8312 Dual-core A7 processor, 512MB of RAM, Dual-core Mali 400 graphics and 4GB of internal storage. As for the Xenon, technical specifications are much the same, although it does come with an IPS display, which delivers far better details.
Full specs and features can be found on the official Archos website, as well as price (1), (2), (3).
