Apps to keep the kids occupied on that long car trip

Many parents will be preparing to take their young children on a long journey soon when they go on their summer holidays. But keeping them occupied and not constantly saying “are we there yet?” can be a challenge. So today we are looking at some apps to keep the kids occupied on that long car trip.

An application which has only been available for a short time, but is already receiving positive reviews is Sticker Factory 1.0 for the iPad. Released by Worry Free Labs, the game will entertain and educate children of all ages. The idea of the game is to mach stickers one by one by their outlines as they roll off the conveyor belt.

The game has eleven feature packed levels with eleven sets of cool stickers ranging from fancy sea creatures to adorable monsters. There is original and uplifting music and great illustrations included in the application. The game is simple but highly addictive and will keep users occupied for ages. A good value for money application is Games for Kids: 12-in-1, and is currently being offered for half price. The application has been designed for children aged between one and five, and will educate and entertain. It helps develop hand-eye coordination, critical thinking, shape recognition and identification, and much more.

A fun and addictive game is Mad Monkey: Best Arcade Kid Game for iDevices. The monkey may have a cute smile but that won’t stop him stealing your precious items, and then throwing them at you. Users will have to chase him in the forest, circus, science lab, and then face him as a ninja monkey. Try and catch everything he throws at you which will make him mad, and then make him move and throw faster.

There is a hidden monkey which only appears briefly, but if you manage to tap him a secret bonus level is unlocked.
