Apps for Lollapalooza 2011 lineup, schedule and map

Today is the start of Lollapalooza 2011, and for those of you who did not do your homework about the event; then you will be happy to know that there are apps that you can download for the lineup, schedule and a map. If you have and Android or iPhone, then you can visit the iTunes or Android Market and download them right away — better to be prepared before the event starts later today.

If you want to be able to streamline your festival experience then an app is the way to go. AMD and Dell power these apps, so you know that they will offer and efficiency that only the best apps offer. For those of you who are going to Lolla and already know the lineup, there is nothing wrong with having the app, as you could have forget who was coming on at what time, which would be a complete nightmare if you missed it.

The map is one of the best features, as it allows you to find an area where you have planned to meet friends or to find a place to eat or go to the restroom. The best part though is the price, as it is FREE. So let’s take a look at some of the main features of these apps that will be of a benefit to you during this three day event; August 5-7, 2011.

Study each artist that is playing where and at what time with the Lineup and Custom Schedule, you can even sync these on the official Lollapalooza website. Group texting is great if you are going with a group of people and you decide to go to different locations during the event, as you can let them know how it is going and when and where you wish to meet next.

While sitting around on the grass having a bite to eat, why not tune into Lolla Radio, where you will be able to listen to some of the artist who has played at the festival before. If you are uncertain who you wish to go and see, then you will be happy to know that both these apps offers Artist Info, which gives you their full bio to know what they have been up to.

For those of you who loves to bring back some merchandise from such events, you will be able to purchase items from Lolla via the iPhone and Android app. Please let us know if you plan on going to the festival?
