Apple’s New Macbook Pro: Core i5 processor release confirmed

We have some good news for all of you looking to pick up a revamped Macbook Pro system from Apple, as recent reports have confirmed that the new models will come equipped with Intel Core i5 processors.

As reported from Apple Insider, the news was revealed by way of an email that was sent out to members of Intel’s Retail Edge promotional program which told them that the Core i5 processors would be standard in the new MacBook Pro models.

Of course, Apple are yet to officially confirm the news, but its surely expected to come after this. At the moment, the top ranged Macbook Pro only comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo chip, so news of the Core i5 chip is sure to please Apple lovers.
