Well, the 2015 MLB season got underway on Sunday, April 5 and will go on until October 4. Many fans of the sport will be looking forward to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 14, but that is three months away yet. There are several ways in which you can see the latest updates for scores and standings, with the newest option arriving on April 24 via the Apple Watch.
The MLB.com At Bat app for iOS was updated on April 4, but will not offer Apple Watch support until the 24th of this month. This means that you will be able to check out the latest live scores, standings, stats, player cards, pitch tracking and also receive notifications.
The app also received an update for the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad to version 8.1.1. Some of the new improvements are general enhancements, pre-game line-up for the iPhone only, along with an up-to-the-moment game analysis feed.
Other new features for the 2015 season are a new UI for all 30 team pages, player search has now been expanded, team-by-team statistical data filters, easy access to each and every game, and improved language support.
MLB.com At Bat was also updated for Android devices and comes with many of the same updated features, as well as the ability to now customize your favorite team on 7-inch Tablets.
