For all those of you who are seeking a recap of last night’s events from the D8 event – you are in luck, as we have a video recap of a portion of Steve Job’s lengthy interview in which he talks about the issues surrounding Adobe Flash support on Apple products.
As reported from Engadget, the video comes to us courtesy of All Things Digital. This is the first time that we see the Apple CEO answer direct questions in an interview about the ongoing war with Adobe – although Jobs was keen to express that the differences between the two companies were strictly on a business level.
Jobs adds that Apple’s decision to axe flash from the iPhone was made from a ‘technical’ point of view, and that it was only after the release of the iPad, that Adobe started to make things personal by attacking Apple in the media.
It is certainly an interesting 5 minutes and definitely worth watching if you have been watching the saga unfold in the last few weeks. Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts on it.
