Apple Unlimited Usage of Purchased Music Downloads from iTunes

Lately Apple iTunes have been center of wild speculation that the music service provider was becoming subscription based. Apple has since quelled those rumors at least until the next ones come along.

Now according to Bloomberg Apple are working on making a music purchase that a customer makes, compatible across whatever other devices they have registered to their iTunes account. Basically if you were to purchase a track on your iPad for example, you would be able to download that track onto your iPhone or iPod Touch free providing they are registered to the same account.

They are reported to be in talks with Warner Music, Sony Music and Universal Music about making this flexibility of handling music a reality. The music would be permanently backed up for users so as to make the multiple downloads possible.

This deal is one of several changes Apple are said to be making. They also intend on transforming its MobileMe service by taking away the charges. Instead users could store their videos, pictures, contacts etc. on Apple servers.
