One of the biggest announcements made in years, Apple TV Plus, and the cost per month is now the focus with an expectation of falling in-line with Netflix price by tier.
There’s going to be options for various levels of subscription and it’s no secret that this will directly target Netflix dominance, especially thanks to Apple TV+ having so many big names in movies and television.

Exclusive, original content will sell the new streaming service and it may even allow pricing to be slightly higher.

We could see Apple TV Plus cost $8.99 for a basic plan, £5.99 in the UK, with prices increasing to $15,99 on monthly plans and in-line with Netflix. Much higher than this, then it may fail to build members quick enough.

The option of a free trial will also help Apple fans see first hand how good the app delivers on iPhone, iPad and even smart TVs and how good the Premium content really is.
We’ll know more on the release date soon, which is some point in fall 2019.
