Apple Tablet PC: Orange deny ‘confirmation’ of release

Following on from our report yesterday, which informed you of the apparent ‘confirmation’ from an France Telecom exec about the highly anticipated Apple Tablet, Orange have today denied the news, stating that previous comments were taken out of context.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, Orange’s Public Relations department has stated that comments were misinterpreted, when translated from French into English, and reiterated that the comments do ‘not’ reflect the confirmation of the still unannounced Apple Tablet.

However, they did state that they would obviously be delighted if the Tablet, or iTablet would be coming to Orange in the future.
