Apple Tablet or iPhone announcement for Verizon Wireless

Tomorrow all of the rumors surrounding Apple’s latest creation should be put to rest, the latest rumors suggest that Verizon Wireless have told managers that Wednesday will be a big day.

There are two main possibilities as to what this could be, either Apple’s new tablet will be available with a data plan from Verizon, or perhaps we may see the announcement of a Verizon Wireless iPhone 4G.

At the moment the talk of a big Wednesday for Verizon is based on recent post on BGR, according to their article one of their contacts has stated that tomorrow Verizon will be holding a “kick off” event which will reveal upcoming devices, products, services, etc (perhaps they will reveal that they are now working with Apple).

Although all of this Verizon/Apple talk is extremely promising for people who are not fans of AT&T, it could turn out to be nothing. Many do believe that tomorrow will see the end of AT&T’s iPhone exclusivity, however if this is the case why have Apple recently gone out of their way to stick up for AT&T?

Recently during a conference call regarding Apple’s quarterly earnings Apple’s COO Tim Cook had this to say about AT&T, he said that AT&T are a “great partner” which has “more mobile broadband usage than any other carrier in the world”. To find out more check out Yahoo Tech.

So we are still left wondering what Verizon Wireless have scheduled for tomorrow? Could we see the Verizon iPhone or would it be something exclusive between Apple and Verizon, maybe the tablet? Either way, it’s going to be a big day and we will be reporting the news as it breaks. Share your thoughts in the comments.
