The Apple Store servers are currently down with a message stating Access Denied on both iPhone and Mac desktop. This is moments before the iPhone 6S pre-order time in the UK, USA, and multiple other countries but this is a different error message compared to the normal “back soon”.
In fact, we have included a screenshot below that shows the exact message when visiting Apple.com. It states, “Access Denied. You don’t have permission to access http://www.apple.com on this server. Reference #18.c5d3dead.1442037363.b40764e”. This server error isn’t at only the main homepage, but also across all their online locations including the online store where iPhone 6S pre-orders will take place.
Are you having problems accessing Apple servers with the above down error on Sept 12, 2015? We are expecting the iPhone 6S to be available for pre-order in exactly one hour at the time of writing, which is 8:01am in the UK and just after midnight in PST, USA time.
This article we be updated when the Apple servers come back up and pre-orders start, It’s also worth noting the O2 website in the UK will likely have server crashing and other problems, as we see every year due to extreme demand for a new iPhone.
Update: It seems the servers are slowly coming up and down again, as another message is now being displayed at the Apple Store with other sections working again. The new message can be seen above, which states “We can’t wait to show you what we have in store. Our virtual doors are just about to open”.
