On Saturday August 7, 2010 the new Apple Store in Covent Garden will open its doors to the public, and is said to be the best store yet. The new store is on three floors and is the 300th to open, and to celebrate the occasion the first 4000 through the doors will receive a free T-shirt.
OK, so it is not a free iPad, but this is Apple after all. Paul Lamkin from Pocket-Lint was giving the grand tour of the latest Apple Store and just had to point out the original brickwork on the building has been kept. Apple has kept things traditional with this building, and the oak floors and tables are proof of that.
One of the best features that I noticed from Lamkin’s tour would have to be the two glass staircases — Apple has not spared any expense on this renovation. There are new services along with the old at this new store, so keeps with the new and old theme of the building itself.
For those of you who have been trying to get your hands on a new iPhone 4 or iPad, then you should head down to the Covent Garden Store on Saturday, as they have plenty of them in stock.
Should this become the new Flagship Store?
