Rumors are continuing to emerge that suggest the we will see a new iPad sometime next month, as only yesterday we had reports that the company were set to showcase their new device early in the month with availability coming shortly after. Now today Apple are reportedly getting content ready for an iPad 3 launch.
This new report is claiming that Apple have entered a “crunch mode”, which according to a report at AppleInsider is where it prepares content for its on-stage demonstrations along with TV advertisements showcasing apps for the device.
Sources are claiming that Apple’s selection process for the content has picked up pace recently, with pressure increasing as the event draws closer. More reports are emerging now that are all hinting at a March release for the iPad 3.
The company has previously showcased some of its own apps such as iMovie and Garageband when showcasing its products, which have been alongside some standout third party applications. It is also being claimed that Apple is focusing on “graphics-oriented applications with high-definition assets“, which will highlight the rumored Retina Display for the new iPad 3.
Apple is reportedly also sending some applications to its advertising partner so they can work on TV commercials for the new tablet PC. The process is believed to be nearing its final stage and is said to be on a tight schedule for both the presentation and TV broadcast.
Other recent rumors about the device have centered on whether the iPad 3 will feature a dual-core processor, and an Apple employee is reportedly claiming the device has an amazing screen. This came with the leak of images that were being claimed as components for the new device, which included the outside of a back panel.
The device is thought to come packing a larger battery that may be to compensate for 4G LTE connectivity and to offer improved battery life. As usual any Apple rumors have to be taken with a pinch of salt until something official comes from the company themselves.
Do you think the numerous rumors about Apple products are just clever marketing by Apple themselves?
