Apple October 30 Event with MacBook Air Replacement

We are now just days away from Apple’s planned MacBook and iPad Event, with the company having sent out invites to media confirming October 30 as the date in which new hardware will be unveiled.

Now, it looks like one of the main highlights of the event will be a new MacBook Air. However, according to 9to5Mac, Apple could be set to drop the ‘Air’ branding all-together and have the new model act as a way to bridge the gap between the Entry-level MacBook and the more expensive MacBook Pro models.

Whispers are suggesting that Apple will introduce this new MacBook Air Replacement at the $1200 price mark but we’ll have to wait and see if this really is true.

What we do know though, is with a new MacBook coming on top of several new iPad Pro models, it could be a very exciting event indeed and one not to be missed.

Are you ready to upgrade to a new MacBook Air? If so, how would you feel if Apple dropped the ‘Air’ branding for the foreseeable future?
