Apple October 2013 iPad event preparation begins

If you still didn’t know that Apple are planning to hold a big event on October 22 to unveil the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2, we think these latest pictures kind of give the secret out. The company has now started to decorate the Yerba Buena building as tradition follows, getting the builders in to give the building the glitz and glamour before the event kicks off in a few days time.

Just head down to the building yourself in San Francisco and check out the progress on the Yerba Buena building for yourself. We have a couple of early preview photos to show you now if you can’t get to the area, but we think it’s fairly evident that something big is going down on October 22.

Everyone is talking about how we will see new iPads at the event, but we thought you may be interested in hearing some further rumors suggesting that other products may be coming. Whispers on Twitter speculate that the event could actually be used to unveil the elusive iWatch and iTV products.

We haven’t heard too much about the missing iWatch as of late, but we have sure seen plenty of rival manufacturers unleash their own branded smartwatches. Do they perhaps know that Apple will soon unleash their own version soon and want to get a early head start on the market sales before Apple mounts an attack?

An iTV would be great to see, but perhaps it is a bit early since we have not heard any rumors on this, which is very unusual in the build-up to an Apple event. At this point though, we think it would be very surprising if we don’t see any new iPads at the October 22 event.

Are you waiting with excitement again for another of Apple’s end of year events, or do you think there is less interest this time around?
