Apple have just launched a new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus service program for the models with power issues. This service is available for those iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users with specific serial numbers, due to the probability of them being affected.
The particular iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus models that may be affected and have the availability to use this service, will have a serial number that was manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019.
There are three different options in-order to send off your iPhone for its free repair service. This includes the following;
- Make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store.
- Find an Apple Authorised Service Provider.
- Contact Apple Support for a mail-in service to the Apple repair centre.
Apple have also stated that if there is any damage to your iPhone, such as a cracked screen and you require this particular service, it must be solved prior to sending off for repair. This is due to the possibility of impairing the complete repair of the iPhone.
