Apple iSlate / Tablet: Possible Reason for Delay

Rumors regarding an Apple Tablet have been circulating for at least 6 months now, which makes many wonder if Apple were originally targeting a 2009 release.

Although the Apple iSlate/Tablet now seems set for a January 26th 2010 unveiling, a recent article posted on TheRegister suggests a possible reason for a delay.

Although nothing has been confirmed yet it seems that the reason for the delay could well be due to the 10 inch display, it is thought that manufacturers were experiencing problems creating a strong display.

The company manufacturing the iSlate is said to be Foxconn, however when they began experiencing problems with the display G-Tech Optoelectronics were brought in.
