Apple iPhone Xs 6.5-inch to be nicknamed Max

Apple’s September iPhone event is just days away, but before that it seems that there is still time for one last major iPhone X leak.

Now, sources familiar with Apple’s marketing strategy have disclosed that the 6.5-inch iPhone X will now be announced to the world as the iPhone Xs Max.

If true, it means that Apple will be moving away from the Plus brand and it could be a way for the company to put further emphasis on the Max being the most premium option available to Apple buyers.

Both the 5.8-inch and the 6.5-inch versions of the iPhone Xs will be offered in Gold for the first time and the OLED-based devices will also be upgraded to 4GB of RAM and run on the new A12 chip.

The big question: Do you prefer the iPhone Xs Max name, or do you think Plus is better? Give us your thoughts on this in our discussion section below.
