Some exciting news for those thinking of picking up the new iPhone now, as we have some more specific details regarding the multitasking feature that will be included in iPhone OS 4.0.
As reported from Apple Insider, the multitasking with OS 4.0 will be similar to that seen in Expose, a popular feature within Mac OS X. The inclusion of multitasking on the iPhone will finally allow users to run multiple applications in the background, without the app quitting with a press of the home screen button.
How will it work exactly? Well if reports are correct, a user can simply double tap the home screen button, to which a window interface will pop up, allowing you to select and switch between your desired apps.
Sounds pretty exciting doesnt it? Head to A I for more details on this. Are you familiar with Expose on Mac OS X? If so, let us know what you think of it.
