Apple iPhone 4G: Flash support for Camera within OS 4.0

Some interesting information to bring you now, as following on from the unveiling of Apple iPhone OS 4.0, it has been revealed that the iPhone 4G will have flash support for the camera.

That is according to this article from Apple Insider, who have found a few interesting files within the beta of iPhone OS 4.0, that was released to developers after their event today.

The new framework within OS 4.0 has revealed the following files: AVCaptureDevice.hasFlash, AVCaptureDevice.flashMode, and AVCaptureDevice.hasTorch – with the first two appearing to suggest that flash will be included on the camera for the next iPhone.

It is no doubt that camera flash will be most welcome with iPhone owners, particularly those who like taking pictures in all environments.
