Previously we have spoken to you about the stock levels of the iPhone 4 and what a researcher over at the Digitimes, we also spoke to you about Best Buy’s 1 day only sale of the iPhone 3GS. We have heard reports that there were stock level shortages ahead of Radio Shack’s big promotional sale of the iPhone 4 which is today. The intended sale is a reduction of the iPhone 4
The offer is that they will be reducing the price of the Apple iPhone 4 by $50 when you take out a 2 year agreement. The problem they are facing at the moment is they will be putting on a sale without being able to give someone a product. AppleInsider.com’s Neil Hughes has written an article about how they have been contacting different stores which you can view here.
They say in their report that they have been contacting Radio Shack stores and all of them with the exception of 1 had no stock of the device. They also say that the phone is still available online but it will take around 2 days to ship, surely the time may increase though depending on demand as you will still receive the same discount.
We did have a look on the Radio Shack website here and were surprised to not find the offer plastered across the site, a little odd. Bearing all of that in mind we want to know, did you get one? Let us know in the comments below.
