Apple iPad: Will not be released in AT&T retail stores

We have some news for AT&T customers looking to pick up the upcoming Apple iPad, as it has been seemingly confirmed by none other than CEO Steve Jobs, that the iPad will not be available in AT&T retail stores.

As reported from Apple Insider, Jobs sent a recent email stating that the iPad Tablet will only be available through Apple stores and Best Buy retailers.

It seems a bit odd given the fact that AT&T are the only official network carrier for the iPad so you would think that the tablet would be available through their retail stores as well.

That doesnt appear to be the case though – according to Jobs. Let us know what you think of this, full details through the link.
