Apple iPad WiFi and 3G: New Release Date for Pre-Orders

We have some important news for those of you still planning to pre-order an Apple iPad in the coming days, as Apple has updated their website with a revised release date for shipping on new pre-orders.

As reported from BGR, customers who pre-order an iPad outside the U.S now, will have to wait until June 7th for shipping – over a week longer than the original May 28th release date.

Although Apple has given no specific reason for the new date, it is widely believed that International pre-orders of the iPad 3G and WiFi have now sold out.

For those of you who already have the device on pre-order, fear not, as you should still receive your device by May 28th. Fingers crossed on that part.

Looks like consumers in the UK are just as much crazy for the iPad as everyone in the U.S. Let us know your thoughts on Apple’s revised release dates. We’ll update you when we hear more.
